Chad Berger
Chad Berger has a good eye for cattle and an even better eye for bucking bulls. He’s been an order buyer for more than 20 years with over 300 head of bucking bulls and 10 PBR Stock Contractor titles under his belt, Chad knows what a good bucking bull looks like. His bulls have bucked at the top rodeos in the world and the PBR World Finals. His dedication to quality and excellence make us proud to call him part of the YETI family.

Q:

What goes through your head when you first wake up in the morning?

A:

It’s a great day to be alive! I always just think how blessed I am to get to wake up and do what I love!

Q:

Where is your favorite place for bull riding?

A:

I really enjoy it here in my hometown, but Nashville is another favorite location.

Q:

How do you up your game year after year?

A:

I really strive to keep at the top of my game by continually finding ways to be better from better bulls to better marketing it’s all about surrounding yourself with people who will make you better.

If you could do anything better, what would it be?

A:

I think I could sometimes be a little more patient.

Q:

Who are your heroes? Who do you look up to?

A:

My heroes have always been cowboys.

What part of you, or what you do, reflects a spirit of restlessness?

A:

I have worked my whole life to achieve what I have and I never gave up even when times got tough.

If there is any love-hate relationship with any aspect of what you do, can you describe what that is?

A:

The love-hate relationship is the time it takes and the time spent on the road. Luckily my family is all involved, but we spend a lot of time away from each other and that makes it hard.

What sound or noise do you love?

A:

The sound of bulls being loaded into the chutes!

A:

Anywhere with my family.

What are the 3 most essential things you need for your category?

A:

Hard work, patience, and determination.

If you could bring anybody in the world with you to do what you love (dead or alive), who would it be?

A:

My dad.

What does YETI mean to you?

A:

YETI means quality and integrity, something that won’t quit.

What does it mean to be built for the wild?

A:

Built for the wild is built for any situation because it can always get a little wild.

How would you explain what YETI is to someone who didn’t know?

A:

I would explain that YETI is more than just a cooler. It is a company that stands behind its products and continually finds ways to improve and make them better. They have products for everything and it’s going to last you a lifetime!

What is the YETI that you cannot do without?

A:

I drink a lot of coffee so I would have to say the Tumblers!

Q:

What, if any, other YETI products do you use? How do you use a specific YETI product in your market? What is your one favorite aspect or feature of your YETI?

A:

We use every YETI product we have out here on the ranch. Hard Coolers for our events and company and for shots…..LoadOut® Buckets for feeding, LoadOut® GoBox™ for supplies, Rambler® Drinkware for water, Colsters® for beverages, the chairs and the blankets we literally use them all at every bull riding!

Q:

How has any YETI product changed what you do or how you do it?

A:

It hasn’t changed what or how, but it has changed the convenience of what and how we do a lot around here!
